Sports Management Program M.E.D. Graduating 2024
I was born In Oakland, California, and have spent a little over half of my life here in Las Vegas, Nevada. I graduated from UNLV with a BA in Sociology on December 12, 2022. I am now pursuing my Master’s degree still at UNLV, in the Intercollegiate and Professional Sports Management program. I chose to get my Master’s in this field, because it directly relates to what I want to do for a living. Playing multiple sports all of my life, staying close to sports and learning the business side of things interest me the most. Though I am still learning the many fields within the sports industry, as of now I am aiming for a general manager or front office position, a collegiate or professional baseball coaching opportunity, or the head of athletics of a notable college program. My ultimate goal in life is to be able to provide for my family, and pay back my parents for all they have done for me. Outside of my professional and school life, I enjoy watching sporting events, watching movies with my mother, and playing fetch with my German Shepherd named “Seven”. My favorite food undoubtedly is well done seasoned steak, accompanied by lobster in the same bite. I am most appreciative of this internship, because it has given me a chance to further myself in the sports industry. Working with the LVSBHC has sharpened many of my clerical and business skills, as well as showing me the amount of detail that goes into hosting a successful Super Bowl. This has been one of the best experiences of life, and has motivated me even more to find my footing inside of the sports world.
